This project is part of ongoing Climate Change Adaptation-Mitigation Research funded by a UK Research Network. The project aim is to produce a policy brief based on time-sensitive research conducted during the summer heatwave of 2022 to assess the effectiveness of heatwave policies and guidance with a focus on four case studies (England, London, Manchester and the Yorkshire and Humber Region.
The brief will be used to stimulate discussion at a policy roundtable on heatwave responses later in the year.
